Routine Dental Care
Cleanings and Exams
Prevention can help you avoid some of the more involved procedures. Exams can help us identify some problems before they get out of hand. Waiting until something hurts is not a good idea, but we can help then too. If things do go that far, Gum Disease Treatment is often accomplished through non-surgical periodontal treatment, including scaling and root planing, followed by adjunctive therapy such as local delivery antimicrobials and host modulation, as needed on a case-by-case basis.
Composite Restorations and Fillings
High strength, color corrected composites are applied to one or more teeth, for the intended purpose of preventing cavities or other forms of tooth decay.
Sealants
Plastic sealants are also used to prevent cavities or other forms of tooth decay.
Root Canal (Endodontic) Therapy
Endodontic therapy is a sequence of treatment for the of a tooth whose end result is the elimination of infection and protection of the decontaminated tooth from future invasion. Root canals take one to three appointments. The number of visits depends on the complexity of the case and how active the infection is.
Pediatric Dentistry
Like we’ve said before. We are a family, proactive in every sense of the word. We’re here for the little ones…and the not so little ones.
Extractions (Exodontias)
A dental extraction is the removal of a tooth from the socket. Extractions are performed usually because of decay that has destroyed enough tooth structure to prevent restoration.
Dental Restoration
Dental Implants
A dental implant is an artificial tooth root used in dentistry to support restorations that resemble a tooth or group of teeth. Dental implants can be used to support a number of dental prostheses, including crowns, implant-supported bridges or dentures.
Crowns
A tooth that sustains significant damage can be restored to optimal form and function with a dental crown. A traditional crown, often called a cap, fits over a damaged tooth like a thimble on a finger, protecting the tooth from further damage. The Crown-In-A-Day restoration is a procedure that quickly restores damaged teeth with natural-colored ceramic fillings. By using the CEREC equipment to make the permanent crown during your first, we save our pat patients the time and inconvenience of several dentist visits. FFD can prepare and deliver a crown in many cases in less than an hour and a half, with no return visit!
Other restorations using CEREC technology (including Inlays and Onlays)
CEREC inlays and onlays (fillings) are designed and custom fabricated using state-of-the-art CAC/CAM technology to perfectly match your tooth and bring it back to its natural strength. CEREC onlays are metal free, have a more natural look and feel, and can help preserve healthy, natural tooth structure.
Bridges
Bridges bridge the gap created by one or more missing teeth. A bridge is made up of two crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap and a false tooth/teeth in between. Bridges are supported by natural teeth or implants.
Dentures
Dentures are prosthetic devices constructed to replace missing teeth. They are supported by the surrounding soft and hard tissues of the oral cavity.

A veneer is a thin layer of restorative material placed over a tooth surface, either to improve the aesthetics of a tooth, or to protect a damaged tooth surface. We use the latest composites to give you the strongest, best color corrected smile available.
